Torres de Albarracín

We landed in this little village about 40kms further on from Albarracín- which you’ll all remember we visited in September 2017 😝 Its in the province of Teruel and surrounded by the Sierra de Albarracín.

This is Albarracín, for those of you who don’t remember 😎

Torres de Albarracín has around 170 inhabitants and a very quaint old church and not much else. However, it’s main attractions are trails and routes for hiking , equestrian and bicycle touring activities, as well as river fishing – but we weren’t here for any of these. We are staying in a lovely cool (as in temperature) guest house and have a lovely room at the top of the house with our own terrace which has gorgeous views out over the valley. The host does all the cooking and prepared us a lovely meal tonight and will serve breakfast on the terrace. She has promised it will be “estupendo” now we didn’t quite get whether that was the breakfast or the view in the morning 😝. Watch this space…

And the drive up to the village was “estupendo” 😝

Here are some photos of the village and the view from our terrace

Sheila says when we were there in 2017 there was a great thunder and lightning too. We’ve just finished one here in Sos Rey del Católico 😎
