Whow… Carcassonne is amazing just like stepping into a film set 😜

Carcassonne, a hilltop town in southern France’s Languedoc area, is famous for its medieval citadel, La Cité, with numerous watchtowers and double-walled fortifications. The first walls were built in Gallo-Roman times, with major additions made in the 13th and 14th centuries. Château Comtal, a 12th-century castle within the Cité, offers archaeological exhibits and a tour of the inner ramparts.

And Sheila found a wonderful Nougat shop… I wouldn’t let her in 🤪

Then in the middle of this beautiful medieval citadel we found…..

Seriously it was on just off the main Street…

Oh yes and I was there too…

And then when nighttime fell it all got even more amazing

And this is the magnificent view from our bedroom

Very cold here with snow forecast. 😳❄️ So all snuggled up in bed watching the Late Late Toy Show 🤣🤣
